The invitation
Monday night gas station adventure, and I was on a mission. Picked out some heavy stuff—like, weights heavy—and headed to the cashier with a sly smile. You know, gotta show off these biceps without actually flexing.
As he scanned the items, his eyes did this double take. It was like a subtle, "Wait, is she serious?" moment. I kept it cool, casually holding those heavy items like it was a regular Monday night haul. The whole scene screamed, "Yeah, I lift. No big deal."
Seizing the moment, I hit him with a casual "Could you help me bring these out to the car?" The shop was quiet, no one around, just the two of us caught up in this impromptu flex scenario.
He nodded, and we made our way to the car.
Outside, I popped the trunk, and he carefully loaded the heavy stuff. The whole scene felt like a subtle flex display. I mean, why lift at the gym when you can turn a Monday night into a weights-and-snacks adventure, right?
Before we hopped into the car, I hit him with the big question. "Hey, ever thought about some personal training? I could hook you up for free, and, you know, maybe you'd be down to help with making some training videos?" The words slipped out, and there was this mix of excitement and a touch of nervousness.
His eyes widened a bit, and I could tell he was processing the offer. I mean, who wouldn't want free personal training, right? And the idea of creating training videos was like the secret sauce. I spilled the beans about being a bit bored working out alone and mentioned how fun it would be to show off the gains for someone who appreciates muscles. It seems I have my new training buddy, stay pumped for the next chapter!
